Scott Nesse
Senior Pastor
Scott Nesse has been serving in ministry for over 30 years. He graduated from the University of Oregon in 1976 before heading to Dallas Theological Seminary (DTS). At DTS, he completed a Master of Theology (Th.M.) in 1981. After serving as a youth pastor in San Antonio, Texas for five years, Scott became senior pastor at Maywood Evangelical Free Church in Rockford, IL, where he remained for 21 years. He then founded Go Far Ministries in 2008 and also authored Families That Go Far, a book exploring the family in a practical, scriptural manner. In the fall of 2010, through much prayer and discernment, Stonebridge Church launched with Scott as the senior pastor. Scott and his wife, Carol-Ann, married in 1984 and have seven adult children. In Scott's free time, he enjoys various sports and remains an avid fan of the Oregon Ducks.

Mike Downing
Administrator
Mike Downing serves as Stonebridge Church Administrator, better known as Pastor Scott's "right-hand man." He graduated from Trinity College (Deerfield, IL) in 1977 before working for Procter & Gamble for 25 years. Prior to his involvement at Stonebridge, he served alongside Scott with Go Far Ministries. Mike enjoys golf in his free time. Mike and his wife Lisa have four adult children.
